Exactly. I was looking for a low cost alternative to buying Dreamweaver, so that I wouldn't have to charge it on to my customer. I realise that there is still a free version available, and that's great - but how about launching some of the other features you've been developing BEFORE gouging people with the pro account price.
WOW! Way to ignore your users CushyCMS! Everyone here suggested 5-10 dollars, and would probably be happy to pay more for more sites. You've just set it to $28 per month and said "screw you" to everyone who said they were willing to pay and showed their support for your product.
I agree that this needs to be relatively cheap. Services I've signed up for in the past have been between 25 and 50 dollars per year. Any more than that and you enter that annoying basecamp-style setup, where the free version is unusably limited, but the cheapest option is out of my pricerange.
